Nav N Go launched at the end of 2004 with the mission to revolutionize the world of personal navigation. Within 2005 thorough development and field testing resulted in a commercial product that was successfully introduced at CeBIT 2006 as one-of-a-kind and state-of-the-art GPS navigation software that is now used in over 70 consumer electronic devices manufactured by leading brands around the world, including Asus Computer GmbH, Audiovox, Clarion Europe GmbH, Funai, Harman Kardon, LG Electronics, MyGuide, Pioneer Europe NV, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and V7 by Ingram Micro.

The Nav N Go family of products and solutions has extended far beyond navigation, with a full application suite for mobile devices. Nav N Go focuses on innovative software development in connected devices offering the latest solutions for navigation, location-based services and content provided on a variety of platforms.

The company has gained tremendous success in Europe and is now one of the fastest-growing GPS navigation solution providers in the world. Nav N Go launched the first life-like 3D navigation software in North America at CES Las Vegas in 2008, and formed partnerships with some of North America’s leading hardware manufacturers.

AWARDS

Nav N Go has won many awards, including the main prize in the Enterprise of the Year Awards 2007 organized by the Hungarian Business & Success magazine, and the titles of Innovation of the Year 2008 and Best Navigation Software in the 2008 Vision Mobility Awards of Excellence.

DIVISIONS

Nav N Go has three divisions that develop software applications and technologies:

Navigation Solutions: Nav N Go develops easily manageable navigation software that makes the best use of modern technology; it provides high-tech solutions and precise route searches.

Platform Solutions: Nav N Go’s platform solutions division expands the functionality of its end users’ PDAs and PNAs, transforming them into a single device with every feature users need for everyday life or work. A PNA developed for simple navigation will become smarter, enabling the device to be used for multiple purposes. Nav N Go offers several essential functions and programs for PNAs, such as a calendar, task manager, address book and MP3 player.

Content Solutions: Content solutions is one of the most dynamically developing sectors at Nav N Go. The additional content it provides for mobile devices makes the applications both more versatile and more colorful. From searchable databases and timetables to dynamic content such as news and weather information, from games on all platforms to maps and millions of POIs – and if its content solutions division does not have it all, the Nav N Go community services will create it.
