Going high-speed for a day with Nav N Go
Warm Up Ltd., the official Hungarian representative of Ferrari and Maserati, held the third in the series of parties organised exclusively for their business partners. This time Nav N Go were also invited to take part. The software developers are in fact the main sponsors of the Warm Up Racing Team, the first Hungarian team to take part in the Ferrari Challenge. The Ferrari racing car dressed in the blue colours of Nav N Go was yet again the centre of attention. The beautiful Ferraris and Maseratis were lined up next to each other on the Hungaroring racetrack on this lovely, sunny autumn day. Visitors found it quite a challenge to take pictures of all the special cars on display, as every model imaginable was there, from the classic Ferrari Testarossa to the Dino, a car very nearly enjoying classic car status.
’We are proud that we managed to turn a special event such as Warm Up Day into a regular entry in the car lover’s diary. More and more of our partners visit us each time, and this time we were also able to welcome Nav N Go as one of them,’ said Allesandro Lipi, the CEO of Warm Up Ltd.
The well-known motoring personality, Zoltán Sulyó was also present at the event held on 19 September, as well as TV presenter Nóri Ördög; both had fun having a go at the racing car simulators set up as a surprise. During the course of the day, Ferrari owners had the chance to compete against each other in reality, so the racetrack in Mogyoród was in constant use: drag races were followed by slalom competitions and timed laps. The drivers with the three best track records received a Nav N Go gift set. Around noon it was time for the Ferrari F430 Challenge, sponsored by Nav N Go, to steal the limelight. The specially crafted racing car of the Hungarian racing team attracted all eyes, and the unmistakeable roar of its engine muffled all other sounds around it. Guests were invited to join racing driver Sándor Jánosi for a lap in this impressive machine.
’We are happy to sponsor such a talented outfit as the Warm Up Racing Team. They are the first Hungarian group to compete and achieve such great results in the prestigious Ferrari Challenge. In this way, we can share a bit of the success of the drivers, Warm Up Ltd., and the whole country,’ said Leon van de Pas, CEO of Nav N Go Ltd.
The gorgeous Ferrari race car flaunting the Nav N Go colours might also be familiar to the public from the company’s recruitment campaign to be seen on street posters and advertisements. The international success of this Hungarian company necessitates the continuous expansion of the number of employees, especially programmers. Some of the successful applicants will be lucky enough to take part in the next Warm Up Day, to be held on 12 October; they too will have the chance to cover the length of the track at high speed in the Nav N GO racing car, sitting next to the driver.
