Nav N Go workers give blood
Our company feels it is important to play a significant part in social assistance, and that is why we are constantly organizing events which are extremely important to those in need. One of these is the company’s internal volunteer blood donation, which was held for the first time on November 21, 2007, at Nav N Go. The Hungarian Red Cross members withdrew 4.5 dl of blood from a total of 34 Nav N Go workers, or a total of 153 dl of blood was collected during this volunteer event, helping dozens of sick people get well again. Twenty one percent of the employees took part in the blood donation, and to be sure the Nav N Go management executives also set a good example in the forefront.
“I think one can expect a global company to think responsibly, based on high ethical standards. And this appears not only in our paying attention to the environment and starting up support programs, but also in our organizing of events to help those in need, or our sick fellow human beings. That is why I am sure we will be holding blood donor days in future at Nav N Go” – says Leon van de Pas, Nav N Go managing director.
