Nav N Go’s Wall of Fame has collected another prestigious industry award: A jury of professionals has selected Nav N Go iGO 8, the 3D navigation software, as the best innovation of the year, in the category of small and medium-size enterprises. The plaquette was presented to András Fazakas, Chief Operating Officer of Nav N Go, by the Vice President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. At the ceremony, Ferenc Baja, Government Commissioner for Government Information Technology representing the Prime Minister's Office, also delivered a thoughtful speech praising the successful nominees.
’Having won numerous professional awards and a typographic prize, it was a tremendous honor for us to earn another prestigious professional acknowledgement with our unique Nav N Go iGO 8 software’ said András Fazakas following the award ceremony. ’This encourages us to maintain our high quality standards and our high level of innovation while developing our future products.’
The basic principle of IT-Business and its product and service portfolio is to promote an innovative approach. One of its essential elements is the IT-Business Leadership Award, which, since 2005, has been given by a jury of professionals to role players in the Hungarian business sector who have produced exemplary and innovative ITC solutions.
The unparalleled 3D graphics of Nav N Go iGO 8 navigation software were particularly acknowledged by the jury: The program provides a lifelike visualization of various city landmarks, outlining the surrounding buildings, and highlighting overhead crossings and bridges. Nav N Go’s innovative solutions have given the GPS scene a new dimension, and have brought a great boom to the navigation market.
