First Free Map Update with Latest 2009 Q2 Maps Available Now for iGO My way for iPhone
The first map and software update for the iGO My way 2009 navigation solution for iPhone is now available for download from Apple’s App Store. Along with the integration of iPhone contacts, the first update contains a number of significant new features. Shortly after the launch of its navigation application iGO My way 2009 for iPhone, NNG Global Services now announces the first update of the software. The new version 1.1 contains the latest 2009 second quarter maps for Europe and North America, ensuring that users stay on top of the constantly changing roads.
“While most other navigation application providers have yet to announce their map update solutions, iGO My way 2009 users can already profit from the latest 2009 Q2 maps for North America, Western Europe and full Europe,” says Tamás Vahl, CEO at NNG Global Services. “Most importantly users can download the latest maps without paying any extra charges, which makes the iGO My way application future proof for every single user!”
Based on user feedback, several additional features have also been developed for the navigation application. iGO My way 2009 version 1.1 presents complete integration of the iPhone contact list: A contact with a valid address can be easily accessed and set as the destination.
A Point of Interest (POI) that includes a phone number can be called immediately from the navigation application. iGO My way 2009 version 1.1 also allows the user to add an intermediate destination to the selected route in order to pass the nearest petrol station, restaurant, or ATM without continuous re-programming. The update also makes the QWERTY keyboard layout available, and allows users to control music playback (pause, resume, and skip) from the Quick menu. Even an on-the-go playlist can be compiled without leaving the navigation application.
