Hungarian news portal Origo explores Britain with iGO My way
One of Hungary's biggest news portals, Origo, has taken part in the British media week, organized by the British Council in Hungary. For a whole week, their reporters explored the British countryside, helped on their way by iGO My way navigation software, donated by Nav N Go. The main aim of the Origo team was to make their readers more familiar with British culture. In their reports they showed what everyday life is like for people in the British countryside, their local traditions and regional landmarks and special foods. They travelled 1800 kilometres (over 1100 miles) in nine days, passing through Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. They were accompanied by a satellite navigation device running on iGO My way software, which proved an invaluable help on their journey.
“When driving around, we relied on the software instructions about 90 per cent of the time,” said Kata Janecskó, one of the people on the tour. “We didn't get lost once! With iGO My way we could find our way around even the smallest, most out-of-the-way villages. We found it especially useful on roundabouts, which are very common in England, because the software always tells you which exit you need to come off at. It was good not to have to concentrate on that, because the drivers had a difficult enough task anyway, driving on the left.”
