Samsung’s latest smartphone, the Omnia i900, has been put on the market with Nav N Go iGO 8, Nav N Go’s 3D navigation software. From 8th–10th September, the captains of the navigation industry held their third annual conference in Budapest, Hungary. At the Canalys Forum 2008, the CEOs of the companies driving the industry forward, including Microsoft, Nokia, Orange, and Loquendo, analyzed the present and the future of the sector. Nav N Go’s Wall of Fame has collected another prestigious industry award: A jury of professionals has selected Nav N Go iGO 8, the 3D navigation software, as the best innovation of the year, in the category of small and medium-size enterprises. The plaquette was presented to András Fazakas, Chief Operating Officer of Nav N Go, by the Vice President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

The latest donation in the charity program called "Navigation for the Emergency Services" is 10 navigation devices for the Hungarian National Ambulance Service, donated jointly by Nav N Go Kft. and NAVON Kft. The devices and software will support ambulances operating out of stations in Budapest. The main aim of the gift is to replace the navigation devices that were recently stolen from two ambulances.
